after a long ride through the woods down a dirt road that is sometimes mud there is a place where the road turns to pavement and i can throw it into high gear and ride for miles

In other words your wheels spun like wildfire and smoke was pouring off them for many miles and were seen by all lol who gazed on the wholesome sight of a keen cyclist in wonder and awe!!
